Why do the park's restrooms/water fountains not work from November through March?
Restrooms and drinking fountains are winterized and closed through the colder months to prevent damage from freezing weather. With Texas weather, we realize that there occasionally are nice days in late February and early March, but we must protect equipment from late freezes each spring and your patience and understanding in protecting these assets is appreciated.
If a restrooms/drinking fountains are not working anytime between March and November, Park maintenance concerns can be reported through the City of Garland Service Request system on the City’s web home page, by contacting Park Operations at 972-205-3589 or by sending an email ParkMaintenance@garlandtx.gov. < back to top
