The Garland Parks and Recreation Department oversees more than 2,865 acres of land containing 68 parks site, a preserve (sanctuaries for native plants, native animals and unique natural features), and 3 greenbelts (parkland on creeks).
The new PARDmap GIS web mapping tool now contains all
city parks, facilities and a list of amenities.
Facilities, including 5 Recreation Centers, 2 Senior Activity Centers,
4 Pavilions, Pools, Athletic Fields, Tennis Center, and other
outdoor facilities.
