Garland Police responded to a disturbance at the Kent Apartments located in the 3800 block of Walnut Street last night just before 7:30 pm.  When officers arrived they found two males who had been stabbed.  Both males were transported to Parkland Hospital of Dallas where one of them later died.
 
Police are continuing their investigation into the details of what started the altercation and led to the stabbing death of 27 year old Hector Vega of Garland.  The second victim, a teenage male, is in Parkland Hospital listed in stable condition.
 
Police detectives believe they know who is responsible for the stabbing death of Hector Vega and are trying to locate that person.
