Two Men Found Dead

Garland Police responded to a disturbance call involving a gun just before midnight in the 3300 block of Russwood Lane.  When officers arrived they were contacted by two females who live in the home.  A 23 year old female who lives there stated she arrived home and was assaulted and threatened by 21 year old Bryant Le who also lives there with his mother.  The 23 year old also stated she believed the boyfriend of Bryant’s mother was dead inside the house.  The 23 year old female stated the assaultive and threatening behavior continued against her until Bryant’s mother arrived home just before midnight.  The female got to Bryant’s mother just before she entered the home and the two left the house on foot.  As they were leaving they heard what was believed to be a gun shot.

Responding officers tried to make contact with Le but got no response.  Garland’s SWAT Team was called and responded.  The occupants of the homes around the house were evacuated.  Negotiators attempted to contact Le and there was no response.  SWAT officers made entry into the home just before 4:00 am to find a 56 year old male dead from an apparent gun shot wound.  Bryant Le was also found dead, with a pistol next to him, from what appeared to be a self inflicted gun shot wound.

At this time police believe Bryant Le shot and killed the 56 year old male, believed to be a Garland resident.  His name is not being released at this time pending relative notification.  Police do not have a motive for the shooting death of the 56 year old male or apparent suicide of Le.
