Assistant Chief Charles Rene
The Patrol Division of the Garland Police Department is a highly trained, pro-active, responsive and dedicated force of 147 uniformed police officers, 18 lieutenants, four captains, and one assistant chief. These officers’ services are provided seven days a week, 24 hours a day, encompassing responses to all types of emergency and non-emergency calls for service by Garland citizens.
