Garland Police Officers concluded their Click It or Ticket campaign that began on Monday May 19 and ran through Sunday June 1.  The Click It or Ticket campaign is a statewide law enforcement effort seeking compliance for everyone to buckle up when riding in a vehicle. 
 
Violation results;
  1,083 - Seat belt
       52 - Child safety seat
     876 - Other violations
       22 - Arrests
         1 - DWI arrest
 
Vehicle crash statistics continue to show injuries are less severe, and deaths less likely when using a seat belt.
