On June 8, 2007, Garland Police responded to a robbery of the Chase Bank, 1000 West Centerville Road, just before 9:30 am.  Bank photos of the suspect were released later that day in an effort to identify the hijacker.  Several calls came into the Garland Crime Stoppers TIP-LINE that aided police in identifying the man.  He is 35 year-old Tyres Mario Donaldson.  Police obtained a warrant for Donaldson’s arrest and he was taken into custody during a traffic-stop just north of Austin, Texas, last Friday.  Donaldson is currently in custody in Austin on the robbery warrant, along with a parole violation warrant.  He is expected to be transferred to Dallas later this week.
