Garland Police have arrested 17 year old Ricardo Beltran of Dallas for the stabbing death of Hector Vega this past Sunday night.
 
Police responded to a disturbance at the Kent Apartments in the 3800 block of Walnut Street Sunday night just before 7:30 pm.  When officers arrived they found two males who had been stabbed.  Both were transported to Parkland Hospital of Dallas.  27 year old Hector Vega later died from his wounds and the second male, a teenager, was in stable condition Sunday night.  The teen was later released from Parkland.
 
Ricardo Beltran is currently in the Garland Jail with a charge of Murder.  Bond is set at $1,000,000.
