Garland Police finished their Click It or Ticket buckle-up Spring campaign on June 4, 2007, at midnight. The two week annual program is aimed at keeping the driving public aware of the state law requiring drivers to wear their seatbelt, along with educating the public on how lives are saved each year in crashes where people have buckled-up.
The stepped up enforcement that began on Monday, May 21, 2007, resulted in the following;
