Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

On January 2, 2007, just before 2:00 pm, officers responded to a robbery at the Bank of America, 1110 Northwest Highway.  The suspect approached a teller carrying a paper bag.  The suspect told the teller to put the money inside the bag and do it quickly.  The suspect kept his head down the entire time, and while facing the teller, he held his hand in front of his face.  After getting the money he quickly exited the bank.  No one was sure which direction he left and there was no vehicle seen.  The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s. He had an unshaven face and wore a baseball cap that was pulled down.  His shirt was tucked into his blue jeans.  The Safe Streets Task Force believes this suspect may also be involved in three other bank robberies that have occurred since December.  One bank was in Dallas, one in Richardson and one in Plano.  All of the banks were within a half mile of a major interstate highway.
