Effective January 1, 2024, the beginning salary for recruits is $80, 080 and may range up to $107,508 depending on qualifications and experience. As of September 1, 2023, there is no maximum age requirement to apply for police.

Additional Information

  • Employees who are military reservists receive time off to attend drill weekends and two-week annual military training.
  • The department furnishes uniforms, weapons, and all other equipment at no cost to the employee.
  • Uniform cleaning is paid for by the Department.
  • Spouse and family insurance coverage available at employee expense.
